In May 2025, SplitX convened an invitation-only conference on the island of Vis, designed as a closed, distraction-free space for reflection, dialogue, and connection.

The gathering brought together 60 senior leaders from the Croatian financial sector, collectively representing approximately €32 billion in assets under management. For three days, participants stepped away from public stages, media visibility, and formal agendas, focusing instead on presence, trust, and long-form conversations.

Because of the nature of the group and the format, the event was intentionally kept private. No attendee names were published, no panels were announced publicly, and no on-stage programming was promoted. The experience was shared only with those who were present.

The setting played a central role. Hosted at Hotel Issa on Vis, the conference combined structured discussions with time spent outdoors – walking, swimming, exploring the island, and allowing conversations to unfold naturally. The absence of cameras, badges, and public-facing content created space for honesty that is increasingly rare at leadership events.

Rather than optimizing for scale or visibility, the gathering was designed around a different principle: that meaningful progress often happens away from the spotlight, in environments that support attention, trust, and human connection.

This marks the first time SplitX is publicly acknowledging the conference. Not to reveal details – but to recognize that some of the most impactful work happens quietly, long before it becomes visible.
