It takes time, money, and energy.
And it’s a numbers game. You might end up going to thousands of events, and maybe that one person at that particular event can change the course of your career, perhaps even your life. You never know.
So be out there. Take that meeting, attend an event, conference, workshop, or whatever is within your reach.
Play your cards. Emphasize your name, current business achievement, high score at some game, or whatever you can use. Make it personal and exciting. Stand out and form the relationship.
And most importantly, take no one for granted.
